Monday June 16th - Sunday June 22nd,
All great things tend to come to an end. Tahoe was amazing and I will miss the whole team being together. Not to mention all he amazing views and mountains. But now it’s time to get back to ‘normal’ life, and back to training for this next race.
I am officially 6 weeks out from H-9 and ready to continue pushing myself. Sadly this week was a bit slow into training. With all the travel, lack of sleep and poor eating.. my body has not been very happy. So, taking this week nice and easy and making sure things come back full force.
The itch to get out and race is more than ever and I am truly ready for the remainder of this training block. Ready for this Florida girl to go tackle 12,00ft of vert in 50 miles!

While traveling I got about 2 hours of sleep.. the next night at my house… in my own bed (finally) I slept 13 hours.

Really rough run. Stomach is not feeling right since traveling. Probably due to lack of sleep and all the crap consumed during the trip. Also, dealing with a headache which I think is from the weather outside - it’s storming.

Summery:
Decent run - was meant to be easy and more power hiking then running. Still not feeling 100% but definitely feeling better.
Consumed a big breakfast before the run and was only running for two hours, so I did not consume as much as normal. But still felt good the whole run. Not to mention my stomach being a tad off, I did not want to push anything.
